MASON, Ohio -- Health officials from Warren County and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health are, according to this story, continuing to investigate what may have caused visitors of the Great Wolf Lodge indoor water park to get sick.
Warren County health Commissioner Dwayne Stansbury was quoted as saying, "They did a walk-through to get the layout and the design and look at equipment."
Meantime, Great Wolf has lowered chlorine levels and water and air temperature following complaints filed by visitors. Health officials said more than 50 visitors reported feeling ill, vomiting and getting rashes.
Great Wolf issued a statement assuring visitors that the park is monitoring water quality systems continuously and testing them manually every two hours. A spokeswoman for Great Wolf said that ongoing results of tests confirmed "normal and safe cholorine levels in every instance."
